In a Hypnotherapy session we will get you into a relaxed state.
We will get you to focus on your internal feelings. Although you will be in conscious state. Your focus on those feelings will make any other sound other than my voice unimportant. As we get you to increase your state of relaxation your focus on those feelings will become stronger and much more clearer.
It is in this deep state of relaxation or trance. We will make positive suggestions to the subconscious part of the mind to tackle unwanted thoughts and or behaviours.
It might be surprising for some to know that we go into mini trances on daily basis. We just don’t know that they are in fact called trances. Can you remember if you have ever watched a film and so engrossed that you have forgotten about the sounds or environment you are sitting in? Listening to a public lecture, reading a book or driving or riding a bike on regular route and arriving to your destination oblivious of the surroundings before you got there? Have you ever closed your eyes while lying on the sofa enough for you to be relaxed but not enough for you to be fully asleep but close to it? This is the closest explanation to being in a state of Clinical Hypnosis.
Hypnotherapy effects your subconscious mind that holds these deep thoughts and feelings. When we have work through releasing these negative ones and replace them with positive ones. You will get the feeling as if a weight has been lifted from your shoulders. This what can be achieved using Clinical Hypnotherapy.
